Established in 1992 out of the School of Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies in Dublin City University, the Company now operates as an independent subsidiary of the University. DCU Language Services maintains the high standards in the area of languages for which Dublin City University is renowned and it is this which makes us stand apart from other agencies, with an established a reputation for excellence and professionalism in the translation, interpreting and language services industry.

We provide services to a broad range of clients and our main areas of specialisation include:

Document translations for both corporate and private individuals, and have experience translating across a vast assortment of subject matters and language pairs.

Oral interpreting at conferences, meetings and in the community, in Ireland and abroad. for private individuals and on a corporate level, for meetings and conferences. We can also provide interpreters that may be needed in the construction industry, for guided tours, and for Health and Safety training.

Language testing and assessment for the purposes of recruitment.
