Cathal joined Dublin City University Language Services as CEO in 2007. With a background in business development and management from a number of different industries, Cathal brings a wealth of experience to the DCU Language Services team. His primary responsibility is the expansion of the business portfolio into new commercial areas and the development of new relationships with partner institutions.

Áine Ní Shúilleabháin
Business Services Manager
Áine has a BA in English and French, a Diploma in Irish Language Studies, and an MA in Applied Language Skills. Her previous experience includes working as an Irish Language teacher, a Translator and Proof-reader, and Project Manager in a translation agency. Áine’s academic qualifications and experience both as a translator and project manager enable her to understand online projects and the translation business as a whole in order to provide excellent translation project coordination. In addition, Áine is a bilingual native Irish/English speaker, and also has language expertise in French.

Anastasia Rosa Papathanaki
Language Services Coordinator (Assessment)
Anastasia has a BA in Science of Translation, an MA in International Relations, and diplomas and certifications from the Sorbonne and the University of Strasbourg. She is fluent in five languages and has 10 years of experience in the fields of translation, proofreading and political research and project contribution. Before coming to DCULS, she was working as a Linguist Specialist for a leading multinational in the field of video-game localization, curating the product from the early stages to the final presentation to the public. She is experienced in Agile and project management tools. She has a passion for research, her focus being applied linguistics and foreign policy.
