Desktop Publishing
Desktop Publishing (DTP)
When highly designed content is created, the impact of the graphics on the translated text may not be taken into account. This is why DTP is an important step.
DTP addresses the formatting and graphic design elements of the translated document, ensuring that it matches the same look and feel of the original document.
Document type and languages
We work with over 70 languages , including right-to-left languages, across several file types such as the ones below.
MS Office:
- Word
- Excel
- Powerpoint
- Publisher
Adobe:
- InDesign
- Framemaker
- Dreamweaver
- Photoshop
Quality Assurance
We include a Quality Assurance step after DTP, so that the final document is ready for publication. Below are examples of the issues typically addressed at this stage of the process:
– Truncated text
– Overlapping text
– Alignment
– Corrupted characters or links
– Missing graphs or images
– Incorrect display of the language
Desktop Publishing Service is offered in addition to our translation service.
