Established in 1992 DCU Language Services emerged from the School of Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies at Dublin City University.  While we now operate as an independent subsidiary of the University, DCU Language Services maintains the high standards in the area of languages for which Dublin City University is renowned. It is this which makes us stand apart from other translation and interpreting agencies, with an established a reputation for excellence and professionalism in the translation, interpreting and language services industry.

We provide services to a broad range of clients and our main areas of specialisation include:

  • Document translations for both corporate and private individuals, and have experience translating across a vast assortment of subject matters and language pairs.
  • Oral interpreting at conferences, meetings and in the community, in Ireland and abroad. for private individuals and on a corporate level, for meetings and conferences. We can also provide interpreters that may be needed in the construction industry, for guided tours, and for Health and Safety training.
  • Mulitlingual language testing and assessment for the purposes of recruitment.
