We are currently looking for Community Interpreters & Conference Interpreters for all languages pairs.

We are also specifically looking for Hungarian and Latvian interpreters.

Community Interpreters 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To interpret between languages at medical/legal/social appointments, meetings and community based assignments in Ireland.

Skills and Requirements:

  • At least two years' interpreting experience
  • Qualification in interpreting preferable
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent grammatical and vocabulary knowledge in both language pairs and the ability to understand what is communicated in both languages and to express thoughts and ideas clearly
  • Ability to pick up new terminology (i.e. if specialised) depending on assignments
  • Be willing and flexible to travel and possibly work outside of normal working hours
  • Abidance of codes of professional conduct and confidentiality

Conference Interpreters 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • To interpret between languages at high-profile conferences and meetings, in Ireland and abroad.

​Skills and Requirements:

  • Third level qualification in interpreting
  • At least three years' interpreting experience in conference interpreting/business meeting settings using different modes of interpreting (simultaneous/consecutive/whispering)
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent grammatical and vocabulary knowledge in both language pairs and the ability to understand what is communicated in both languages and to express thoughts and ideas clearly
  • Ability to pick up new terminology (i.e. if specialised) depending on assignments
  • Be willing and flexible to travel and possibly work outside of normal working hours
  • Abidance of codes of professional conduct and confidentiality
